Painted Prairie Ranch is
nestled at the crest of the Highland Prairie just west of the Pawnee
Grasslands of northern Colorado. Started in 1998, our goal has
been to produce quality tobiano paints that can perform on the ranch or
in the show ring. As a small breeder, we have placed particular emphasis
on the selection of my broodmare herd choosing quality bloodlines and
mating them with quality sires. We look for a strong horse, with good
bone, stout frame, good mind and a solid pedigree. Color is an added
bonus.

We take pride in the raising of our foals. The foals are handled from day one.
They are halter broke, led out each day, trailer broke and hauled right away.
All the horses are turned out daily to pasture and brought in at night. You can
be confident that Painted Prairie Ranch horses are allowed to be a horse yet
have manners, discipline, and training. Feel free to call or email me for more
information about my horses and upcoming prospects. Don't miss the Sale Barn
page for a great addition to your own herd!
